Happy New Year from Hold the Throne

Happy New Year's from Hold the Throne

In retrospective, this year has been a crazy but productive one. I started HTT back in July after I switched to WordPress, and I’m extremely thankful for both the readers that followed me over and the new readers that hopped on board this year.

I’ll be taking today and tomorrow off to prepare for my year-end lists dropping this weekend. I’ve got some special posts coming up that I hope everyone enjoys. I know I’ve enjoyed compiling them!

For now, let’s pop a bottle (or two, or three) and enjoy what’s left of the decade.

Here’s wishing all my readers and their loved ones a happy, safe & healthy New Year.

See y’all next year, Peace!

DivShare Out, RapidShare In

RS

Quick Announcement:

I know some of you have been upset that you can’t download certain files due to links being down or disallowed. To avoid this in the future, I will be switching to RapidShare for all file-hosting primarily for 2 reasons:

1. The site I’ve been using, DivShare, severely limits the amount of downloading. RS does not. I’d say this makes the switch a no-brainer.

2. I’ve recently hopped aboard the RS train (shouts to Ivan and Kev for showing me the light) and got myself a Premium account. I highly recommend you get your own now if you want to optimize downloading from my blog and others. It’s only 6.99 euros for a month, which is about $10 bucks. Or, you can elect to buy more months at a time for a discount. You gain the ability to download multiple files at once and can take advantage of faster speeds.

I apologize to those that have been inconvenienced by the DivShare links. I will be re-upping my A Tribe Called Quest Weekend links ASAP, so check back soon if you missed them the first go-round.

Thanks for your time, Peace!

$port – You’ll $hoot Your Eye Out (Mix)

$port

My apologies. I’ve been so focused on my Best of the Decade posts and compiling my year-end lists that I’ve let some dope music slip through the cracks.

Don’t worry, I’m here to drop off a mix by the producing-half of Chris Connery and HTT homie $port entitled You’ll $hoot Your Eye Out, a play on a famous quote from some Christmas movie.

Shout to the man himself, feel free to hit him or me up to share your thoughts. Enjoy!
