The homie Dallas Penn inquired a lil’ while back if I had the audio of The Roots’ performance of their new single “How I Got Over” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. I finally found a good quality recording, figured I’d upload it for y’all to enjoy.
This live version is much more upbeat and soulful than the studio one. There’s something about ?uestlove and the fellas rocking out live that captures the essence of what a performance should be – energetic, intense and chaotic yet cohesive.
